The Stark Regional Labor Management Council Program is part of a network consisting of 11 professional not-for-profit service organizations that play significant roles in fostering Ohio's prosperity. Each is partially funded by the Ohio Department of Development, community support and donations from many businesses and organizations utilizing SRLMC services. Stark Council assists employees and organizations in their community to develop collaborative initiatives encouraging innovation and flexibility to meet the demands of continuous change and global competition. Founded in 1987, the Stark Regional Labor Management Council has evolved and grown regionally. The council is represented by community leaders and organizations including management officials, labor unions, government officials and public organizations. The Stark Regional Labor Management Cooperation Program is part of a state supported network of service providers that promote good employer/employee relations in a high performance work environment. SRLMC provides a comfortable, neutral atmosphere for training and facilitation and creates an environment for positive change. SRLMC also promotes economic development and encourages companies to stabilize and prosper by encouraging employee involvement.
